What is the Noble Eightfold Path? The Eightfold Path is the eight righteous paths or eight miraculous means that lead beings to the sublime life. Or the eightfold main path towards enlightenment and liberation. The Eightfold Path is also known by other names such as the Eightfold Path, the Noble Eightfold Path, the Noble Eightfold Path, the Eightfold Path of Action, the Eight Directives, the Eight Chiefs, the Eight Paths, the Eight Chis, the Eight Dharmas, or the Eight Roads. The Noble Eightfold Path belongs to the Noble Truth of the Four Noble Truths that the Buddha taught in the Buddhist teachings. The Eightfold Path is considered, contemplated, and must be taken if, and only if, each step is fully accepted as part of the life you seek. Buddhism never requires blind faith, it only seeks to promote learning and self-discovery. The Eightfold Path includes: - Right view (skrt: samyag-dṛṣṭi, pāli: sammāditthi): see right.- Right thought (skrt: Samyak-saṁkalpa, pāli: sammāsankappa): right thinking. - Right speech (skrt: Samyag-vāc, pāli: sammàvāca): right speech. Right Action (skrt: Samyak-karmānta, pāli: samm kammata): doing right. - Right livelihood (skrt: Smnyag-ājīva, pāli: sammājiva): live right. - Right effort (skrt: Samyag-vyāyāma, pāli: sammāyāma): right diligence. - Mindfulness (skrt: Samyak-smṛti, pāli: sammà satti): remember correctly. - Right concentration (Samyak-samadhi, pāli: sammā samadhi): right concentration. The Noble Eightfold Path can be divided into three groups according to the empirical characteristics of each branch: A. Wisdom (Prajna, Av. Wisdom) including: Right View. Chief of thought. This group aims to cultivate, cultivate wisdom to go to the path to enlightenment (awakening). Right view, with the help of Right Thought, observes the object to determine what is right and what is wrong. B.Precepts/Moralities (Sila, Av. Morality) include: Right speech. Chief of Business. Chief of Network. This group aims to cultivate and cultivate good ethical behaviors such as compassion (compassionate heart), compassion (compassionate mind) through what we say, through what we do, and through the profession we choose to live. C. Concentration (Samadhi, Av. Concentration) includes: Right effort. Mindfulness. Righteousness. This group helps to focus on good, pure objects to reach nirvana, to liberation. The path to practice the Eightfold Path is also the path of the Precepts - Concentration - Tue Eightfold Path - 8 paths towards enlightenment include: 1. Right view is righteous, right; Ant is seeing, awareness. Right view is seeing, hearing, right perception, uprightness; understand the impermanence of life, the unsatisfactory conditions, and the interdependencies of life have caused dissatisfaction, dissatisfaction. A person with right view knows how to distinguish between what is false and what is real. And when knowing the false scene, the false object, the eyes do not focus, the mind does not pay attention; But when you know the real scene and the truth, you focus on the truth to make the lily lamp shine, and the world can't hide it. Just like you can read the directions on the map, research to prepare for the journey…reading and checking the information is very important, but only stop at the preparation stage. On a deeper level, only direct experience leads us to right understanding. Real knowledge is of little value, if we don't put it into our own personal experience. Therefore,Right view here is not about understanding theory but understanding and realizing the truth through personal experience. * True understanding: -Knowing that all things that exist in this world are caused by causes and conditions, do not last forever and always disappear. - Be aware of cause and effect - karma to act. - Be aware of the existing value of the human body and everything around. - Realizing the Suffering, Impermanence, and Selflessness of all things. - Realize that all sentient beings have the same pure essence. - Be aware of the Four Noble Truths - The Twelve Predestined Conditions, do not accept the ordinary, accept the end. * Untrue understanding: - Clinging to God created creatures, not believing the cause and effect of karma. - Denying all things that exist, not perceiving them from dependent origination. - Clinging to prejudices; The concept of inequality between people and things. - Insist on knowledge of delusions;do not believe in the fruits of liberation. 2. Right thinking Right thinking is thinking right with reason, eliminating greedy, harmful, brutal and cruel ideas that are toxic to others; always develop and cultivate altruism, compassion, and goodwill towards everyone, always generate good intentions towards all sentient beings, always think of those who are suffering to bring good for them, to relieve their suffering. People who practice according to the right way of thinking, often think about sublime morality, think about the mysterious nature, know how to consider wrong actions, bad thoughts to repent; know how to think about three non-smuggling items: Precepts, Concentrations, Hues, to practice liberation; know how to consider ignorance and the cause of suffering, which is the source of evil, and find the right method to practice to liberate oneself and others. * Right thinking:-Think about the cause of your own suffering and that of sentient beings, where ignorance is the source of all sins, to know and practice in order to find liberation for yourself and others. - Thinking about Precepts-Concentration-Hue as the basis for progressing to the fruit of Nirvana. * Thinking not righteous: - Thinking about benefits, talent, fame, looking for hundreds of thousands of schemes to harm people. - Thinking of many ways to surpass people, every scheme to take revenge; bewitchment; rely on people's beliefs to fascinate. 3. Right Speech Right speech is speech that must be true, right, and right, because words have the power to do good but can also cause harm to the listener. People often say what they think, so Right Speech must follow Right Thought; so think carefully before saying: "Words don't cost money to buy / Choose words to please each other."No matter who's words, as long as the words are true and true, then just believe and practice. Therefore, all words that are correct, reasonable, and beneficial to all sentient beings are right speech. These words we must believe and practice saying them right. * Truthful speech: -Speech straight, honest, reasonable, unbiased, gentle, simple and clear. - Words are beneficial, identical and have the character of encouraging, encouraging practice, revealing the light of enlightenment in each other's mind. -Speech that honors the morality of being a human being; Praise the Dharma of Compassion and Wisdom. * Untruthful speech: - Speech is divisive, not true. Words to harm people, distort, favoritism, flatter. - Words of cursing, insults, slander and profanity. - Words to protect the Self and the Self. 4.Right Action Right action is every action that must be in accordance with the right, do not harm any animal, any person, even do not have an intention to harm anyone. Right thinking also describes, also thinks about right karma. In other words, a person with right karma is always good moral behavior, avoiding harming the rights and honor of others. A person who strictly follows "right karma" is a person who is always cautious, keeping all his actions, so as not to harm the rights, profession, position, reputation, happiness, and life of others. More than half, people who follow the right career always respect their professional conscience, always act in favor of everyone and everything; and, if necessary, can sacrifice one's life or word to relieve the suffering of others. * Righteous action: - Acting in the right way, know how to respect the right to live together of all people, all species. - Act with care without harming the profession, property, reputation and status of others. - Righteous actions are actions with conscience and morality in their position, knowing how to preserve their character. - Know the right sacrifice to bring benefits to sentient beings. * Action not righteous: -Action does not keep the rules, precepts. Acting only for his own benefit, but harming others. 5. Right Livelihood Right livelihood is doing a job for a living to avoid harming others. Buddhism often encourages people to get rid of possessions because it binds them. In fact, there is nothing that prohibits the accumulation of money and the purchase of precious jewelry. It all depends on where the relationship of this property comes from.According to common tradition, wealth can be a sign of good karma. Abundant possessions can also give one an opportunity to help others through one's compassion. Those who follow Right Livelihood live in accordance with the Dharma, are not superstitious, and know that the body of the four elements is impermanent, should take the pure precepts as their body, take wisdom as their life, give up their thoughts and aspirations, and be at peace with the Dharma. * Righteous life: -Living with true ability and talent, not deceiving people. - Live high, righteous Dharma without superstition. * Life is not righteous: - Damage and brainstorm people. - Live sloppily, use your mouth and your mouth to conduct friendly transactions. - Living in pursuit of superstition and superstition; Live in dependence on others. 6. Right Effort Right Effort is a mental discipline to focus on trying, diligently, patience to use appropriate effort between the two extremes: one is laziness, the other is overwork. Right effort is to get rid of improper attitudes and thoughts. We already know that the Buddha tried to resist the obstacles to enlightenment: He was tempted by the young Mara, but he was unmoved and eventually reached enlightenment. A person who follows Right Effort is, first of all, always eager to correct himself, resolutely eliminating evil, determined to develop all good deeds (see the Four Righteous Efforts). People who follow Right Effort, bravely advance on the road to liberation, until they reach that ultimate, noble goal (see paragraph "Ten root" in the article Five senses). Determined to create karma that is not smuggled out of the world, takes right wisdom as the strength, takes Nirvana as a place of direction, one heart is not late, for all kalpas will not move, resolve elaborately, set the path to fruition first, then save sentient beings. * True diligence: - Determined to eliminate the evil that has been born, to prevent the evil that has not been born. - Specialized in doing good deeds. - Be diligent in cultivating merit and wisdom. * Diligence is not true: - Being drunk with the five senses and pleasures. - A person who indulges in pleasure to the detriment of others, does not restrain himself. 7. Mindfulness Mindfulness means making our lives relevant to what we are doing in the present moment. For example, when eating, we pay attention to eating, when reading books, we pay attention to reading, when reading Buddhist scriptures, we pay attention to and Buddhist scriptures, when driving, we focus on driving, when washing dishes, we pay attention. into washing dishes. Mindfulness causes us to recall things from the past, especially focusing on the things we nostalgic for.Mindfulness makes us think about the future, especially the things we are worried about. Then Mindfulness helps us to return to the present moment to pay attention to what we want and is happening in the present moment and to find an appropriate solution. Mindfulness has two parts: a) Right mindfulness: is thinking of mistakes to sincerely repent, and thinking of the Four great graces: kindness to parents, favor to the fatherland, grace to sentient beings, and grace to the Three Jewels to take care of the temple. b) Right mindfulness: is to use compassion to consider life as suffering, illness, and confusion that sentient beings are suffering from, in order to extend love and resolve to save. People who follow Right Mindfulness, often observe the ultimate scene, often remember the Dharma aids; No matter where you are and what you do, remember to think of the fruit of no smuggling in the world, no matter how many lives you have gone through, you will not be distracted. * Righteous thoughts:- Remember the four virtues. Remember the past mistakes, don't repeat them now and in the future. * Untrue memories: - Recall the hatred for revenge. - Recalling unhelpful fragile happiness. - Recalling heroic deeds, using past cunning and brutal tricks to be proud. * Righteous Contemplation: - Contemplation of Compassion: Seeing the sufferings of sentient beings in samsara generate compassion, find many means to help them. Seeing our own and others' delusions lead to sorrow, lamentation, suffering, grief, and despair, practice the Buddha's teachings to end delusion. - Contemplation of Wisdom: Contemplating the causes of the universe's birth, rebirth, good and bad, high and low; contemplating the true nature of dharmas to firmly advance on the path to liberation. * Contemplation is not true: - Remember to think of sensual pleasures, pleasures. - Remember to think of the schemes, schemes and means of killing each other.- Remember to think of cunning writing to deceive people. 8. Right Concentration Right concentration is focusing on something as good as compassion, like the impermanence of life. Our mind is seen as a dusty mirror, Right concentration is considered as cleaning the mirror so that the mirror is clear. In other words, Right Concentration helps clear the mind to see things as they are in reality. Right concentration helps us to see thoroughly the impermanence, the dependent origination of all things and all situations in life to help us reduce our worries, fears, doubts, attachments, anger, and illusions about something or a problem; and as a result our lives will be more peaceful, more skillful, and more compassionate to benefit ourselves and others. Those who follow the Right Concentration, often focus their thoughts to observe the following main problems: Contemplation of the impure body: (contemplation of impure body) ie contemplating an impure body, to eliminate lust, delusion (review the paragraph: "contemplating the body immoral." purity" in the Four Foundations of Mindfulness). Contemplation of compassion: (compassionate contemplation) is to visualize all sentient beings as one true mind, equal and no different, to eliminate hatred, and to extend love to save sentient beings. Contemplation of cause and condition: (contemplation of cause and condition) is to visualize that all dharmas, visible as things, and invisible as thoughts, are all fake, predestined to exist, but not in a genuine, non-permanent way, in order to stop them. except stupid, legal. Contemplation of discriminating precepts: (precepts of discriminating contemplation) means discerning and contemplating the composite of 18 precepts: 6 senses, 6 senses, 6 consciousnesses to see that there is no real "self, dharma" in order to eliminate self-grasping, law enforcement. Contemplation of the breath:(instant contemplation book) means contemplating by concentrating on counting the breath in and out, to counter the distraction of the mind. * True meditation: - Not pure contemplation: contemplating the dharmas are not pure, to eliminate covetousness, delusion, etc. ……. - Compassion and Compassion: Contemplation of all sentient beings having the same pure nature, nothing more, no less to respect, respect and eliminate hatred. There is a separate dharma in the inter-interrelated world (the Flower Sutra), which is not true, does not last, to cut off stupidity and bias. - Precepts discriminating contemplation: That is, distinguishing and observing the combination of 18 precepts (6 senses, 6 senses, 6 consciousnesses) to see that there is no real self and eliminate stubborn ignorance. - Book of instant insight: That is, contemplating the breath, to treat the scattered mind to go deep into meditation. * Improper meditation:Meditate to pray for rebirth in the heavens. -Meditation to practice spells, miracles, miracles, immortality. In fact, the entire teaching of the Buddha, what he taught for 45 years whether done in one way or another with this path. His Holiness explained it in different ways and in different words to different people, according to their stage of development. But the essence of the thousands of teachings found everywhere in the Buddhist scriptures is found in the Eightfold Path. Practicing the Eightfold Path is the practice of our Body - Speech - Mind. When we practice the Eightfold Path, we will reap many good results. The Eightfold Path is the foundation of Right Enlightenment, the basis of Liberation - Enlightenment.END=NAM MO SHAKYAMUNI BUDDHA.( 3 TIMES ).WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=BUDDHIST DHARMA WHEEL GOLDEN MONASTERY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.18/10/2022.VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=THE WOMEN OF THE SAKYA CLAN CHAN TANH.
